Shoes For Every Occasion

It is a golden rule: women can’t have too many shoes. As every outfit has the perfectly matching pair of shoes somewhere, we need to find them and more importantly have them. It’s not about being possessive but all about being a bit more perfect. Men won’t ever understand this but they might appreciate it somehow.

A survey revealed that women tend to buy shoes as part of their usual retail therapy. Even if they don’t feel like buying anything else – which is purely hypothetical and could only occur because of some gained pounds - they still become weak when checking out the latest shoe fashion. The reason behind this is easy: your shoe size is unlikely to change – no matter if you can resist chocolate and ice cream or not.

However, nothing can be more embarrassing than wearing footwear that’s already out of fashion. Out-dated styles, unacceptable colours and even worst: the wrong heels. We must admit that some sins need to be done - that’s what style is all about. But don’t try to make a fashion statement with women’s shoes you’ve bought in the winter sale some years ago. Save yourself the embarrassment and even better, do what you love to do: go shoe shopping and buy some new pairs.

But what’s really new and hot?

1) Stilettos are the ultimate shoe and dominate the catwalks in Paris, New York and Milan. And the heels can’t be high enough. If you were ever tempted by ridiculously high heels you can go for it now. Be a fashion icon and feel irresistible in the latest high heeled stilettos. The even better news: they make you look slimmer and every time you pass a mirror they’ll give you more confidence. Who cares about aching feet then?

2) Shoes with thick heels are the comeback of the year. But this doesn’t mean to search for them in the happy hunting ground of your wardrobe. Leave them buried as they are and rather go shoe hunting instead. The effect on men cannot be compared with stilettos but they are the perfect companion for days at work and Sunday lunches with the girls.

3) Flat shoes with pointed toes are still in fashion – even though it’s a good question why this is so. We thought we had survived the trend and can happily wear our elegant round toes or the hot new square toes. Unfortunately not. So keep one of those boring pointed toe shoes for a walk in the park or when shopping around the corner.

4) Stilettos with nice tapered heels are not only eye catching but even have some potential of being comfortable. That’s what makes them perfect for us. You will not only look gorgeous, much slimmer and irresistible but you can walk in them for hours. So even if your new date asks you out for clubbing after dinner these shoes won’t let you down.

5) Grey is the new black in shoe fashion. If you thought that grey is only a colour for boring elephants you are mistaken. It’s the new black: elegant, stylish and always appropriate. It’s even hard to conduct fashion faux-pas with this colour as it’s so easy to combine with your clothes.

So what are you waiting for? There’s no excuse for ugly old-fashioned shoes anymore. Spice up your wardrobe with new women’s shoes and enjoy feeling special in your high heels .
